Questions to ask about my MRI

I was diagnosed RRMS in spring 2019 and told I would start DM. Administrative delay/errors in the NHS prevented treatment for over a year, I started Tec in July 2020. I was grateful to start treatment in the midst of COVID and, like many, my contact with neuro is diminished. I saw one neuro in person for about 10 minutes in 2019 and had one telephone consult with a different neuro this year before my last MRI, in which case he suggested I not worry about cognitive decline (without discussing further) as I am middle-aged.  I've had 1 discussion about an MRI in 2020 on a quick telephone call which referred to one from 2019 (never got the report or discussed with a neuro) where I learned that I had 3 previous clusters of lesions and they'd grown a bit, but there were no lesions on my spine. The NHS referral to the "new' to MS talks never happened.  I've handled bowel and bladder issues with my GP,  but wonder if these issues mean an increase in damage. I was handed diagnosis and eventually started DM (grateful) but there was no explanation or interaction with me as an agent to my health. Disheartening.  I don't know what to ask about my last MRI, having had it 6 weeks ago. Here's the email I intend to send my MS nurse for her to forward to my Dr. Can folk advise other questions I should be asking? I really don't know where to start in trying to understand this damn disease, other than my daily experience. I want to understand what my MRI tells me. Questions for MS nurse: I had an MRI in early Sept. Can you please tell me about the report?  My MRI 2020 showed  3 small clusters of lesions, which had increased slightly from 2019, and none on my spine.  - Do you see any new scars or any evidence of permanent nerve cell loss? Previous MRIs show no lesions on my spine, is this still the case?  - Can you tell me how many lessons I have in total and how many are new?  - Is my brain volume normative?   Thank you for your help

Maybe you can try contacting your neuro's secretary if you have the details and ask to speak with your doctor. Or perhaps you can ask the MS nurse to refer you to the neuro. I do not think the MS nurse is able to answer some sort of questions.
