I’ve been really busy the last couple of weeks here in the ms life team. From processing the 700 attendee bookings (plus the many more that are flooding in everyday!) to trying to plan the workshop sessions.

I’ve also been busy pushing out marketing materials (postcards, booking forms and even pens) to MS nurses, libraries, social clubs and other organisations across the UK to try and let as many MSers know about the event as possible!

MS Life now has 40 confirmed workshops, and trying to fit them into a time table is proving quite a tricky task! We’re trying to slot them in where you there won’t be too much conflict with other sessions or the big research talks happening.

I’m really excited about this year’s workshop programme, we’ve worked really hard to make sure that we try and cover everything that people will want to hear about. From symptom management to sex and relationships to support for carers and partners to benefits and employment, the programme certainly is jam packed with loads of different information sessions.

I’m also this week trying to find complementary therapists and beauticians to work (for free hopefully!) in our MS Spa, so if you know of anyone in the Manchester area who might be able to help out please encourage them to get in touch with me or the ms life team.
